How to Get Involved in Maupin, Oregon
The Maupin Area Chamber of Commerce is a rural community, non-profit membership organization operated on a limited budget, with one part-time staff person and a few dedicated volunteers. If you are a business on the Lower Deschutes River and love Maupin and the South Wasco County Area as much as we do, join the Maupin Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC). Chamber membership is open to all businesses and individuals that operate on the Lower Deschutes River, and in Maupin and the South Wasco County area. MAUPIN CHAMBER MISSION
The mission of MACC is to support and promote business growth, tourism, and economic development, to be a willing community partner and to operate a local visitor’s center.
Business listing on the Chamber website with a business description, photo/image, contact information, and a link to your business website.
Exposure of your business through the relationships MACC has with other organizations, advertising campaigns, social media, and linked websites. These sites include, but are not limited to:
- Oregon Festival and Events Association
- Oregon State Chamber of Commerce
- Central Oregon Visitors Association
- Travel Oregon
The Chamber coordinates summer volunteer staffing for the Visitor Center in downtown Maupin. The Visitor Center has information, brochures, and maps for local and regional destinations.

Chamber Annual Membership Dues
Individuals (non-business), Churches and/or Non-Profit Entities: $30.00
Business with 1-10 Employees: $95.00
Business with 11+ Employees: $150.00
City Park Kiosk Space: $100/year
Additional MACC Website Directory Listings
Your paid annual membership entitles each business to a single Directory listing on the MACC web site. If you would like your business listed under multiple headings in the Directory there will be an additional $20 charge per heading.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns regarding membership, or would like to become involved with MACC activities or attend meetings, please contact us. To assist us in representing our members, please ensure the Visitor’s Center has a supply of your brochures, flyers, business cards or other pertinent information available for display and distribution.
Returning Members: Please take a moment to review your business information at www.maupinoregon.com for accuracy. Report inaccurate information and/or changes to MACC via the website.
New Members: Please allow 2 weeks for your membership information to reach our web page. Once available, please review your new listing for accuracy and report any discrepancies or changes to MACC via the website.
Volunteering at the visitor center is an opportunity to stay connected with the community and meet with visitors. The visitor center is open seasonally from May 31 – September 30th.
